The occasion of 139th Birth Anniversary of Sadhu T. L. Vaswani saw people pouring in huge numbers and chanting aloud, ‘Dada Shyam’.
After the day of devotional chants, bhajans and kirtans, commemorating Sadhu Vaswani’s birth anniversary as per the Hindu calendar, the evening witnessed a Rath Yatra in Pimpri.
As the rath (chariot) moved through the lanes of Pimpri, devotees were enthralled at the life-like portrait of Sadhu Vaswani & Rev. Dada J.P. Vaswani seated on the rath. Led in spirit, the devotees marched on to convey the message of going meatless this 25th of November. Slogans were raised in chorus invoking the sympathy and compassion in all.
The procession was like a pilgrimage which saw several halts at temples, gurudwaras and more. All in all, the message of abstaining from all forms of flesh food on the 25th of November, was passed on through carrying on the tradition of rath yatra.
The Sadhu Vaswani Rath Yatra started at Open Lawns, near Anandpur Kutiya at 5:30 PM and ended at Royaal World school grounds at 7.15PM.
The 1.5 kilometer road passed through many temples: Anandpur Satsang Dham, Durga Mata Mandir, Satyanarayan Mandir, Ganesh Mandir, Vaishno Devi Mandir, Sant Kanwarram Mandli, Baba Mulsingh Darbar Gurdwara, Shani Mandir, Sai Mandir, Gyaniji Gurudwara, and Prem Prakash Mandir.
The finale featured a spell binding laser show & a devotional offering by acclaimed singer Kaajal Chandiramani and Rev. Dada’s video message.
