Sadhu Vaswani Centre (SVC) Pimpri in an effort to carry out sevas that make a difference, organises blood donation camps twice a year since the past 31 years.

9th January 2022, ahead of the 56th Mahayagna of Sadhu Vaswani observed on 16th and 17th January, SVC Pimpri held a blood donation camp at B.T. Advani Dharmshala.

“We started this humble effort in the year 1991 on the occasion of Dada J.P. Vaswani’s birthday. Since then, we have been organising this camp and providing it to Inlaks and Budhrani Hospital for its Blood Bank. In the event that we have met our quota for Inlaks, we invite local Blood Banks to accept our sevas,” shared a Mission Official.

"It also helps immensely that the community here looks forward to the Camp. During the Camp held on 9th January, despite the pandemic situation, we received 108 blood donations. This is a great contribution considering the ongoing third wave and people hesitating to step out of their homes once again. Indeed it is the grace of Beloved Dada that has helped us get a good response,” he added.

Needless to say, blood donation is a life-saving exercise for someone battling life and death and therefore this Blood Donation Camp is a humble effort in contributing towards saving lives.
